Prior to joining Townhall, he worked as a political activist and consultant in the Western states. Until 9/11, Ransom worked primarily in finance as an investment executive for NYSE member firm Raymond James and Associates, JW Charles and as a new business development executive at Mutual Service Corporation. He has become an expert in military affairs and features some of America's solders and great leaders live from the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan. Humphries' has been named one of America's 100 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts eight years in a row, was nominated as Talk Personality Of The Year by Radio and Records. Rusty considers his passion for children's and veterans issues to be the most important parts of his career.
