White House Defends Obama's Use Of Executive Actions

(Washington, DC) -- Presidential spokesman Josh Earnest is defending President Obama's frequent use of executive actions. GOP House Speaker John Boehner plans to sue the President, accusing Obama of overstepping his constitutional authority. Earnest called it a "taxpayer-funded lawsuit against the President of the United States for doing his job."
Earnest questioned the legal rationale for the lawsuit and said the executive actions are necessary because of obstruction and inaction by congressional Republicans. He accused Republicans of sticking to a game plan to "block everything." Earnest said the President will not be backing off executive actions because of the pending lawsuit.
