TESSA Gets Funds For Domestic Violence Prevention

(Colorado Springs, CO) -- A grant of more than 12-thousand dollars will help TESSA of Colorado Springs fight domestic violence. The funds from the Verizon Foundation will go to the "Building Healthy Relationships" school outreach program. It's aimed at men and boys. Michelle Schaunaman of TESSA says "educating men and boys to be allies in stopping domestic violence is essential to ending intimate partner violence on a cultural scale."
