(Denver, CO) -- A sales tax holiday that could save money for parents statewide is moving forward. A state House bill passed committee yesterday which would allow most school supplies and clothing to be bought tax free. It would be held on the first weekend of August. State Representative Dan Pabon says a tax holiday would help those who need it most, parents with triple-digit bills for back to school supplies. Cities and counties would have the choice to collect sales tax during that timeframe.
