Russia: Putin Talks With Obama About Malaysian Airline Crash In Ukraine

(Moscow) -- Russia's Interfax News Agency says Vladimir Putin spoke with President Obama today about the crash of a Malaysian airliner in Ukraine. There's no word on exactly what the two leaders discussed. The White House said earlier President Obama is aware of the plane crash but can't confirm any details. Malaysia Airlines is only confirming that it has lost contact with Flight MH-17. The flight was carrying 295 people when it went down not far from the Russian border. Ukrainian officials are suggesting the Boeing 777 was shot down by a surface to air missile fired by separatists.
