Peterson Air Force Base Could Feel Pentagon Cuts
(Peterson Air Force Base, CO) -- Proposed 2015 Pentagon budget cuts could lead to big implications for Peterson Air Force Base. Officials from the 302nd Airlift Wing say its fleet of C-130 aircraft could be reduced by a third, down from 12. The planes can be used in wildfire fighting operations. A 200-member squadron at the base could also be shut down. The budget moves still need approval from Congress.
