(Colorado Springs, CO) -- Water restrictions aren't in the forecast for Colorado Springs this summer. Colorado Springs Utilities says it will have a better than two-year supply on tap after the snowpack melts. Restrictions were put into place last summer due to the ongoing drought. A good mountain snow season has led the snowpack level in the Upper Colorado Basin to rise to well above 100-percent of normal. The utility is still recommending people to be sensible and water their lawns only three days a week during cool periods of the day during summer months..
