Man Arrested In Connection With June Fatal Crash

(Undated) -- A man believed to be responsible for a June crash that killed a Pueblo teen is facing extradition back to Colorado. Frankie Perea was arrested yesterday in Taos, New Mexico. Investigators say Perea ran from the scene of the crash that killed 16-year-old Bernadette Trujillo. He's facing vehicular homicide charges in connection with the crash. Perea had a total of three warrants out for his arrest. Pueblo Police say they had been working on leads in the case in connection with the U.S. Marshals Service for the last two months.
