(Larkspur, CO) -- Voters in the town of Larkspur are heading to the polls today to decide on recreational pot sales. The town would be the only one in Douglas County to allow the sales. Larkspur is about 30 minutes north of Colorado Springs where recreational sales are banned. The vote comes a week after people in Palmer Lake shot down a measure to allow the sales in that town. Recreational retail sales became legal on January 1st, but local communities are left to decide whether to allow them.
