(Centennial, CO) -- Defense motions to put a stop to the second mental exam for accused Colorado theater shooter James Holmes are being denied. The "Denver Post" reports the judge issued the orders yesterday. A second exam was ordered after prosecutors claimed the first one was biased. Holmes is scheduled to go on trial in October for the 2012 shooting that killed 12 and wounded dozens of others. He has pleaded not guilt by reason of insanity. It's expected defense attorneys will appeal yesterday's ruling.
