Israel, Hamas Agree To 72-Hour Truce
(Undated) -- There is a new truce between Israel and Hamas. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry say all parties have agreed to a temporary humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
UN General-Secretary spokesman Stephane Dujarric said civilians in Gaza will receive urgently needed humanitarian relief during the ceasefire. He said the UN is urging all parties to act with restraint until the humanitarian ceasefire begins and that they fully abide by their commitments during the truce. Over 14-hundred Palestinians and dozens of Israeli soldiers have been killed during the conflict which has dragged on for over three weeks.

UN General-Secretary Spokesman Stephane Dujarric says all parties are being asked to cease hostilities during the truce. Dujarric says the ceasefire will allow Gazans to take care of pressing needs. Play Clip
