Fundraising Efforts Set For Tomorrow For Owner Of Burned Victor Building

(Victor, CO) -- The owner of a historic building that went up in flames in Victor last weekend is getting some help for restoration. Fundraising efforts will get underway tomorrow in the small mountain town. A firefighters' bucket brigade will be taking donations at 10 a.m at 3rd Street and Victor Avenue. Organizers tell the "Colorado Springs Gazette" they just want to show support for building owner Barbara McMillan. The Miners Union Hall caught fire last Saturday, causing heavy damage. McMillan had recently spent hundreds of thousands of dollars revitalizing the building, but didn't have insurance. Donations are also being taken online at www.crowdrise.com/victormuh
