Former Springs Pastor Charged With Impersonating U.S. Marshal
(Denver, CO) -- A former Colorado Springs pastor is being accused of impersonating a U.S. marshal in a kidnapping and robbery case. Michael Abromovich is being charged with several counts. Investigators say he lured the victim to a Denver-area motel last year after posting a personal ad on Craigslist before handcuffing and robbing him. A preliminary hearing is set for February 20th. The victim says Abromovich told him he was confiscating his valuables for an investigation. He reportedly served as a pastor at Set Free Christian Ministry.
