(Colorado Springs, CO) -- Colorado Springs Council members are saying they do not want to sell any part of the city-owned Colorado Springs Utilities company. Council members who are also the Colorado Springs Utilities Board said yesterday they will let Xcel Energy know the city wants to keep the energy division. The letter to Xcel will be used as a form letter to send the same message to any other companies who show an interest. Councilman Andy Pico says the rate payer would not gain anything by a sale.
