(Colorado Springs, CO) -- Colorado Springs is pulling in more money from sales tax for the month of May. The city reported collections were at nearly ten-million-dollars for last month. That shows a better-than-two-percent climb over the same time period last year. It comes after a slight dip in April, which has been blamed on one-time revenue that was collected in April of 2013 due to merchant audits. The May sales tax collections are for sales made in April. May's increase was the biggest since January.
