(Colorado Springs, CO) -- A Colorado Springs police officer is facing drug charges. Investigators say Jeffrey Warkocz was arrested last night and put on administrative leave with no pay. He's facing a count of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deceit, a class four felony. Police Chief Peter Carey says the public can rest assured the investigation will be conducted with the same integrity as any other police operation. The case will now go to the District Attorney's Office for formal charges.
