City Council Reverses Course On City Building Pot Ban
(Colorado Springs, CO) -- Pot possession will not be outlawed at city-owned buildings. The Colorado Springs City Council reversed course on a measure that would have banned it completely. Some members were conflicted over the enforcement on medical marijuana. The proposed ordinance fell short yesterday on a second reading. Marijuana use at the facilities will still be prohibited. The council did vote in favor of a ban at the Colorado Springs Airport. The facility currently has "amnesty boxes" for those wanting to get rid of their pot before flying.
