Chinese Ship Detects Second Ping In Search For Missing Airliner

(Perth) -- Australian authorities say a Chinese ship has detected a second series of electronic pings in the search for the missing Malaysian airliner. Search leader Angus Houston called the report promising.
Specially equipped ships are heading to the site where the pings were heard to determine if they are in fact being transmitted from the black box on board Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. The second series of electronic pulses were detected a little more than a mile from the spot where Friday's pings were heard.
