(Denver, CO) -- A community is saying goodbye to the Colorado teenager killed in a high school shooting last month. Seventeen-year-old Claire Davis was remembered during a New Year's Day memorial service in Denver. She was critically wounded when a classmate opened fire at Arapahoe High School last month. She died eight days later. Her father told the gathering he has "lost a shining light by her passing." Michael Davis mentioned the gunman and, fighting back sobs, he said he and his wife forgive Karl Pierson because he didn't know what he was doing.
