(Denver, CO) -- A bill to outlaw online sales of lottery tickets is now moving to the state Senate. The House passed the measure yesterday. It was brought to head off the possibility of underage gamblers getting their hands on tickets. Sponsor Brian DelGrosso says online sales would also hurt small businesses who rely on the income. Lottery tickets are not currently sold online, but the Department of Revenue says rules to do so are already being hashed out.
