(Colorado Springs, CO) -- The unemployment picture in southern Colorado continues to improve, but still remains behind other areas of the state. The latest figures show Pueblo had the highest jobless rate for any major metro area with eight-point-six-percent for the month of November. Colorado Springs had the second highest at seven-point-three-percent. Both areas showed more than a full point of improvement over the same month last year. Statewide, unemployment is at six-and-a-half-percent. Denver County is just under that mark.
