(Denver, CO) -- A possible ban on concealed handguns on state college campuses could be going to the voters. The title language of the ballot measure was approved yesterday. Safe Campus Colorado must now collect nearly 90-thousand signatures to put it to a statewide vote. Supporter Ken Toltz says he wants piece of mind against any more "tragic mass shootings." Currently, the concealed carry ban only applies to K-through-12 schools. The newly proposed measure adds the words "public college or university" to the existing law.
