(Peterson Air Force Base, CO) -- Firefighting training starts tomorrow for Air Force reservists with the 302nd Airlift Wing at Peterson Air Force Base. It will combine classroom sessions with training runs over Pike National Forest and San Isabel National Forest during the coming days. Crews will be dropping thousands of gallons of water at a time to prepare for fire season. They'll be using specially equipped C-130 aircraft. Experts have predicted an average season.
