A&E Reinstates Suspended "Duck Dynasty" Star

(Undated) -- The Robertson Family is whole again on "Duck Dynasty." A&E is reversing its suspension of family patriarch Phil Robertson in the midst of protest over the punitive action imposed over his controversial comments in a "GQ" interview. In a statement issued Friday, the network said Phil would not miss any episodes of the upcoming season, which will include a series of public service announcements. A&E said the PSAs would promote "unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people."

The network suspended Robertson earlier this month after he compared gays to terrorists and said African-Americans were happier before Civil Rights in the interview. The suspension sparked outrage among "Duck Dynasty" fans who launched petitions in support of his reinstatement.
