Young Springs Man Sentenced To Four Years For Bank Robberies

(Colorado Springs, CO) -- The youngest family member involved in a series of Colorado Springs area bank robberies last year will serve four years in prison. Nicholas Butson was sentenced yesterday. He, his father and his brother were accused in the robberies. His brother Braden Butson is expected to be sentenced to six years in prison later this month. Both of them pleaded guilty in the case. Their father Brock Butson is expected to go to trial in March. During yesterday's sentencing, the 20-year-old said he blames his drug addiction fueled by his father for his short-lived crime spree.
